Let’s rock! These are the first words that come to mind when listening to the new Static-X album Shadow Zone. Just like previous Static-X albums one just can’t keep their feet firmly planted while the music pumps through their system. There is only one major complaint about the album and that is its length. Just when you’re really feeling the music flow, boom, it is over. Totaling less than 40 minutes, with only 13 songs I feel that there should have been just a couple more songs to complete Shadow Zone. Don’t get me wrong the quality of the songs are incredible but there was just something missing. After talking to some people I realized that most never heard of Static-X, which is a damn shame. They have that fun hard-edged metal/rock. I still suggest picking it up to experience what Static-X has to offer, you will not be sorry!
